Mansfield State School is proud to offer the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program to all our students, staff and community. We have multiple garden areas across the school, and a purpose built kitchen that enables our SAKG specialist to deliver lessons on growing, harvesting and cooking healthy foods for students in Prep to Year 6.
Thank-you to our school P&C and community for supporting this wonderful initiative, and to the many volunteers who contribute to the ongoing success of this program.
The beehives, hall water tank, and berry orchards as part of the SAKG program at Mansfield State School were proudly funded by a Lord Mayor’s Community Sustainability & Environmental Grants Program Grant from Brisbane City Council.
